HOT & SPICY CHICKEN WINGS 2 lbs. chicken wings 2 cups Crisco Oil ¼ cup Durkee Red Hot Sauce 1 tbsp. Crisco Oil 1 tsp. butter 1 tsp. vinegar ¼ tsp. garlic powder Heat oil to 375°F. Deep fry wings 8-10 min until nicely browned. Stir together hot sauce, oil, butter, vinegar and garlic. Remove browned wings, drain oil. Place skillet back on unheated element. Pour sauce into skillet. Add wings and gently toss 1 min. Place skillet back on medium heat. Continue tossing 2 min or until wings have absorbed sauce. Serve with blue cheese dip or plain. To make hotter, add to sauce, 2 tbsp. hot sauce. For medium, add 1 tbsp. ketchup, for mild, add 3 tbsp. ketchup. |
