A Daily Checklist and Health Challenge

Many people want to get healthy but are not sure where to start. Obstacles to health include: our polluted environment, foods with decreased or depleted nutritional values, decreased digestion, increased levels of toxins in our bodies, and stress at abnormally high levels. Our body and emotional stability are being compromised. If you are interested in a healthier lifestyle here are some suggestions to follow. Challenge yourself to follow this daily checklist for a month. See if you have more energy, vitality and have an improved sense of well-being. Let me know how you feel.

WATER
Drink 6-8 glasses per day. Optimally drink only spring water that has been ozonated. Supplement with trace minerals in most other sources of clean water.

GREENS
This category of supplements contains grasses, algae, fruits, vegetables and often beneficial herbs. A Greens product is considered a necessity by Nutter’s as conventional foods are depleted of many of the health and life sustaining nutrients. Some of the Greens products supply as much as six servings of fruits and vegetables in a single tablespoon. Consider it a must for your family.

PROTEIN POWDER
We need approximately .5 to 1.5 grams of protein per pound of lean body mass per day. Amino acids from protein are building blocks for our cells. Many hormones are made of protein as well. Protein helps with strength, endurance, emotional stability, weight control and the immune system. Many animal source proteins contribute to ailments such as arthritis and high cholesterol as well as they may contain contaminants.

ESSENTIAL FATTY ACIDS
The walls of every cell are made up of essential fatty acids Our body cannot produce them. They must come from a food source. They are good brain food, necessary for emotional balance, energy, soft skin, and joint mobility.

FIBRE & LIGNANS
Fibre is necessary for digestion and colon maintenance. Ground flax seed is a source of fibre and lignans which have many health benefits such as lowering cholesterol, hormone balancing, and fibroid prevention.

DIGESTIVE ENZYMES
At about age 25 our enzyme production starts to diminish. Undigested foods lead to toxicity of the whole body and colon problems such as gas, bloating, flatulence, irritable bowel syndrome, crohn’s and colitis.

ANTIOXIDANTS
Our environment, stress, some foods, pollution, and normal biological processes of our body cause a free radical storm. Free radicals lead to illness and aging. Antioxidants pick up free radicals.

IONIC CALCIUM
Calcium is not only for elderly women but is necessary for everyone. To be absorbed it must be in an ionic state which helps protects against osteoporosis, bone spurs, kidney stones and gall stones.

PROBIOTICS
Friendly bacteria are necessary for proper digestion and to maintain bacteria balance in the colon.

STRESS REDUCING SUPPLEMENT
Stress is at the base of all ailments. Reduced stress helps to increase immunity, energy and a sense of well being, as well as balance hormones, and help with weight management.

CHOOSE ORGANIC
Eat nutritious, energy packed foods that are in harmony with your body and the environment.

CHOOSE ORGANIC NATURAL COSMETIC AND SKIN CARE
The products we put on our body are absorbed into the blood stream and distributed throughout our body.

EXERCISE AND BREATHE DEEP
Every biological function in our body benefits when we move our body and breathe deep. A daily practice is optimal.

LAUGH
Laughter it is the best medicine. Find the time and a friend to laugh with.

DETOXIFICATION
Your body will detoxify on a daily maintenance level if we follow the above suggestions, however, we live in a time that we need to cleanse deeper periodically. There are several detox kits that purge the body of toxins.
