Nutters 2nd annual “Round up for Mental Health” – Final results
When a team comes together as one – focused, determined, and passionate – amazing things happen. Nutters’ 2nd Annual Round Up for Mental Health Campaign has once again proven this to be true!
The campaign ran throughout the month of May in all 27 Nutters locations from British Columbia to Manitoba. Over 10,800 Nutters customers said “YES” to rounding up their purchase to the nearest dollar. Every penny of each donation is going directly to the Canadian Mental Health Association office nearest each Nutters community.
This May’s campaign raised over $26,300 – topping last year’s total by more than 15%. Sixteen Nutters stores contributed more this year than last, and the top-donating store was Prince Albert, Saskatchewan, bringing in $3,806.65. Congratulations to Janine Favreau, her team, and their valued customers for an outstanding result in support of mental health.
In addition to our Nutters teams capturing the spirit of the campaign, our media partners in virtually every community also contributed significant airtime and ad space in support. In several locations – including Kamloops, Medicine Hat, Leduc, and North Battleford – we also received extended news coverage on local radio and in newspapers. We are grateful to our valued media partners for helping to amplify our message that mental health is valued and supported in these communities.
Nutters Regional Manager Elizabeth Hellebrand commented: “It is so heartwarming to see our campaign achieve a notable increase over last year, particularly in very uncertain times. We truly appreciate the support of the thousands of Nutters customers who said ‘YES’ to our campaign.”
Thank you to our wonderful neighbours throughout all our Nutters communities! Your donations will help make an impact.
